Conceptual Design Gallery

Behind every memorial is a long argument between memory and material. This gallery opens that argument up, presenting the original concept drawings, scaled architectural models and material samples that shaped the Azadi Ki Pehli Ladai Ka Shaheed Smarak.

Visitors trace the journey from the first sketches through finalised façades, learning how the soaring umbrella canopy and the sacred banyan plaza were resolved as one continuous gesture honouring those who fell in 1857.
