The Eternal Flame
At the centre of the complex stands the Sacrificial Monument, a circular hall of remembrance where an eternal flame burns beneath a sky-lit oculus. The walls carry the names — known and unknown — of those who gave their lives in the revolt of 1857.
Designed as a place of stillness rather than spectacle, the chamber invites visitors to step out of the museum experience and into a moment of personal acknowledgement.
