The Sangrahalaya is the museum's collection in the strict sense — a curated set of objects that survived 1857 and the long century that followed. Uniforms, swords, medals, currency, proclamations and personal effects are displayed in climate-controlled vitrines with extensive object labels.

Rotating displays ensure that even repeat visitors encounter something new each season.
